The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) is organizing Out of Country Voting (OCV) for the 2010 Parliamentary elections. OCV will take place on 5, 6 and 7 March; elections inside Iraq will take place on March 7.
Out of Country polling centres are being established in 16 countries: Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, UAE, Egypt Turkey, Sweden, Germany, USA, Netherlands, Denmark, Australia, Austria, Canada, Iran and the UK

The IHEC Board of Commissioners has formed a committee to oversee Out of Country Voting. The committee consists of three commissioners - Surdar Abdul Kareem, Iyad Al Kinani and Saad Al Rawi. The OCV Administration Office has been established in Erbil, and its Executive Director is Miqdad Al Sharifi, who is also the Director of the Administrative Department in the National Office.
