The first day of the poll in America

In the middle of the Iraqi wedding celebration, the doors of the poll in the electoral center in Washington opened, which there was a big rally of the Iraqi community in that state. Mr. Samir Sumaidaai, the Iraqi ambassador to Washington, Richard Locker and Steny Hopper, American Senators as observers, next to Mr. Sarbast Mufty, electoral office director in America, attended opening ceremony, in addition to Dr. Abdul Hadi Khalili, cultural attaché at the Iraqi embassy, and Hikmat Bamarny, the consul.

The electoral poll centers in seven states of USA, which electoral centers have been opened in, saw a wide receiving by the Iraqi community in USA, and it got happiness of all and unique cheer, the all centers were empty of any legal or electoral violation.

And on the other hand, the American media carried out some television and radio interviews and press statements with Mr. Sarbast Mufty, electoral office director in America, he talked in them about the progression of the elections and its smoothness, in addition to the public impression prevailed over the election atmosphere. In their newsletter, the television stations praised the atmosphere filled with joy and pleasure, which accompanied the elections progression.

The Satellite Television Channels, which broadcast their programs in Arabic Language like "Aljazeera Alarabia", "Alhura", "Aliraqia", "Alfaiha", "Abu Dhaby" and "Nile", carried out interviews with Mr. Sarbast Mufti, talked about the preparations preceded the time of opening the electoral centers for voting, progression of the elections and receiving the poll by people. Its mentioned that the Channels covered in their role the event of opening the electoral centers in the first day of the days of the voting.
