Opening the registration and voting centers for the Iraqis abroad
The registration and voting centers started receiving people at (16) countries which have been approved for Iraqis to participate in 2010 parliamentary election.
It came in a press statement made by Mr. Iyad Kanani, member of Commissioners Board and member of Supervision Committee on the elections abroad, saying that the poll centers opened their doors, although the timing is different between Baghdad and included countries in the elections. The first country the registration centers started receiving people was Australia and it was at 12:00 in the last midnight and the Iraqis who live in that country participated widely.
119 electoral centers have been opened at 16 countries including 602 actual electoral stations, he added.

Kanani explained that the reports receive us from the countries show that participation is good and there a big force on the poll centers. The works are going on well and the simple problems which happened could be controlled via direct supervision of Commissioners Board, Supervision Committee and OCV.

through its monitoring the registration and voting process, Media showed the great importance the Iraqi community has abroad and mentioned that participating in the elections is a big national sense that the Iraqis must contribute it strongly.

Its mentioned that the Iraqi election is held at 16 countries and 16 electoral offices have been opened.
